Slydial: Go directly to voicemail, do not pass go.

Call someone and have the call go straight to voice mail - their phone will not notify them of an incoming or missed call, just of the voice message. Although you can call from a land line or a cell, this will only work when calling a cell phone.

As a cop gives someone a ticket, his car rolls away

WARNING: AUDIO IS NSFW. A cop's car didn't quite make it into 'Park' and starts rolling away as the cop is talking with the person he pulled over. The cruiser's dashcam gets a perfect shot of the cops initial reaction as well as him chasing after the car, cursing, as the car gains speed. No one is hurt, fyi.

Learn the facts behind all of the political claims: FactCheck.org and PoliFact.com

These sites strive to verify or refute claims made by or about the Presidential Candidates and their running mates. FactCheck.org focuses on more than just politics. PoliFact.com has sections of true statements, half-truths, lies, 'pants on fire' and 'flip-flop'. In what I have read they both appear to be fair and accurate with no discernible bias.

Free Jack-o-lantern Patterns

http://pumpkinmasters.com/free_patterns_main.asp
A few free patterns. Simple and direct, but good.

http://pumpkinglow.com/
Non-Halloween jack-o-lantern patterns; Famous people, Patriotic, Christian images, Animals, and more. Turns out this site is based in Smithfield Utah, just north of Logan, so there's also a Utah Aggie pattern!

http://www.pumpkinlady.com/pattern.htm
Many, many patterns.  Most are for sale at a modest price ($2-$3) but she posts weekly free patterns as well.

http://www.carvingpumpkins.com/
Probably the best assortment of patterns and ideas out there: Hundreds of free patterns, with photos of jack-o-lanterns the site owner has made over the years; Simpsons, Family Guy, Dora, Patriotic, Lord of The Rings, Wizard of Oz, and LOTS more. Many of these are likely for more advanced carvers, requiring more time and effort than the traditional jack-o-lantern, but with more impressive results.

Aint that a punch in the head? Slow motion punching.

Slow-motion video of people getting punched - usually while distracted. Smoking, drinking water, blowing bubbles, or talking on a cell phone; they never see it coming. Which is funny, because the guy punching them is slow as hell about getting there. My favorite is the smoking guy getting punched in the jaw and the smoke that puffs out of his mouth after he gets hit. Also, the guy with the water bottle whose head gets punched away, but the bottle stays in the same place, pouring out all over him.

Squirrel Launchers – That’s one way to get rid of them.

I would seriously not post this if I thought the squirrels were actually getting hurt from this. Enjoy.

Good launch

Physical representation of countries based on statistics rather than actual size

This is an absolutely fascinating series of maps of the world - each map represents a different statistic and each country's placement within that statistic. The larger a country appears on these maps, the higher its rating in the given category:

Stupid And Misspelled Tattoos

10 greatest misspelled tattoos. Here's a few:

"I'm Awsome"

"Tomarrow Never Knows"

"It's not the cards your delt in life: It's how you play them." Depicting burning face cards that also have missing jigsaw pieces from them.

I like the guy in Beijing with the tattoo: "Frunk" which he believes to mean "old soul with young spirit". I'd love to see the correct translations for all of the foreign language tattoos various white guys have on their backs or arms that supposedly mean "warrior" or "brother" or "fights with broken bottle".

Sadly, some tattoos depicting actual people don't always make the leap from attractive photo to attractive tattoo.
