Go to this website for a kid-friendly YouTube experience. Instead of relying on filters and video tags, all videos available here have been personally certified by the site admin for his own 2 kids. The site has a simple but fun interface, where hitting 'spacebar' goes to the next video.
Another cool thing is you can create a more specific pool of videos from which to draw. For example, http://www.kideoplayer.com/babyeinstein specifically brings up Baby Einstein videos. In the same manner, typing "kitten" at the end of "www.kideoplayer.com/" will play only videos containing kittens. And so on...
