It's worth noting that this genius was arrested and released less than an hour before this crash.  Also, the reason we have this video is because he was trying to go around a cop car that was driving in the far left lane.  As of this writing, the driver is still alive but in critical condition at an area hospital.

I'm fond of any video that can give you a bird's eye view on reentry from space.  This camera attached to a rocket booster is no exception.  The action starts at 1:50.

A Cat In A Trash Bin

Meet the most hated person on the internet.  This woman in England stopped to pet a cat before she dumped it in a nearby trash can. The cat was in there for 15 hours, but survived. Fortunately there was a closed circuit camera pointing in the right place to catch every detail.

Update: they found the woman, and she has been given police protection. Although nobody can excuse her actions, I also think that we do have to remember that she is a human being and as angry as this video might make us, she should not be likewise thrown into a garbage can, punched by Mike Tyson, roast on a spit, or any of the other over the top punishments I'm sure we've all been imagining.  She certainly should be punished, of course - just something a little more run-of-the-mill.

The fact is, we all do stupid and even terrible things in our daily lives, but so far we've managed to not be filmed while we do it.  Despite what we may think, she is not the worst person in the world and by all rights should not be fearing for her safety right now.

Bunny Jumping Competition

I suppose the hardest part is not getting the rabbits to jump, but to jump in the necessary form and directions.  Can you imagine if your job was to train rabbits to jump?  Surreal.
