Swype Now In Open Beta For Android
Until today, the alternate Android keyboard Swype has only been available to the lucky few who got into the initial beta. It has just entered open beta!
If you own an Android phone, you must at least try Swype. Between Swype and voice recognition (especially post-Froyo), the input methods of Android are fantastic. Check out this vid, then head over to Swype's site to get Swype onto your phone today!

I. Love. Swype.
Since it’s release on WinMo a while back. I’ve been using it on my Android and it’s hands-down the best keyboard out. I’m bummed that this beta doesn’t include the mic button for voice-txt though. I may have to keep with my current version until that’s added.

I lied.. voice is included.
-seems a bit more responsive, too.
