They've clearly taken some autotuning liberties on some of these vocals, but the result is pretty incredible.
Although I'm sure this took hours upon hours of programming locations into these drones, the fact that these little guys are playing music so in-sync is very, very impressive. and a little scary.
Starting at about 4:45, the cauldron is lit. Some time before, white doves had been released into the stadium during the opening ceremonies, and many had yet to find their way out of the stadium.
As birds are wont to do, they were drawn to a relatively high perch to check out the scene - little did the birds know they were moments away from being burned alive. Most got away, but a few didn't get away in time.
Whose idea was it to release birds, anyway?
And so it begins... first autotune and now holograms. Not much longer and we'll have a pop star that is 100% fabricated. From her (it has to be a hot chick, right?) voice to her appearance, everything will be controlled and perfected before being presented on screen and on stage. Before that, though, I'm betting they'll bring Jim Morrison back to life with the rest of The Doors on stage with him.
WARNING: This is the actual film that shows JFK getting shot in the head. It is not for the faint of heart.
The camera, understandably, was jostled around quite a bit in the commotion. This Stable Pan allows the image to remain steady within our field of vision. Never mind that the stabilization was done by a conspiracy theorist who insists the film itself is a fake...
Watch the reactions of the driver and the other riders in the car. How would you react in a crisis situation like this? Perhaps the strangest (yet somehow understandable) response is from the first lady. When she gets up and reaches behind the car, it was often stated that she was trying to help the secret service agent behind the car to hop up before the car drove away. She is actually reaching for a piece of the president's skull that had flown onto the back of the car. You can see her grab it and then get back into her seat as the car speeds away.
