Talking Heads: Life During Wartime

If you have never seen the full film of Stop Making Sense (of which this clip is a part), do yourself a favor and get a hold of it. The showmanship and musicianship are stunning. Even the concept - starting out with a bare stage, with David Byrne playing acoustic guitar and singing along to a cassette with just a pre-recorded simple rhythm track, then slowly bringing out more musicians and set pieces is fun, impressive, and thought-provoking. Plus, David Byrne in a huge suit is a sight to behold.

Winter In Yosemite

After spending time in Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Glacier National Park, and now seeing this video, I think I am slowly but surely becoming obsessed with our National Parks.

Book Crossing. Assign your favorite books an identification code on this site. Place a sticker inside each book with the website and the book’s individual code on it; then leave the book for someone to find, with the idea that you are sharing the book with them and inviting them to share it with someone else. You can then check back on the website to see who found your book and who else they have shared it with.  As Book Crossing likes to call it, “Label. Share. Follow.”

Video Footage Of Uncontacted Amazon Indians

It's amazing to me that there are people still living like this on our planet. I hope they get their privacy and can actually maintain their distance from modern society (especially modern loggers).

Nosecone Video Of An Airplane Landing At L.A. X

A cool video from the vantage point of the pilot as they make their approach to LAX. The city lights and setting sun are beautiful. This is time lapsed just a bit.
